Product Review: Simply Wize Crusty Bread
I have had bad experiences with gluten free bread. The last attempt at making some myself with a packet mix was a disaster, not because of the cook but because of the ingredients! The bread in the end was so awful, tasted almost like plastic, I couldn’t even finish one mouthful.
So I was interested to see how this would turn out. I was actually pretty impressed with the outcome.
The bread is pretty easy to make – add yeast, water and a bit of oil, go through a few processes of kneading, resting, rising, then bake for 25 minutes.
When it was done it smelled amazing, was nice and dense, and tasted pretty good for gluten free bread.
Now, to announce the first Gluten Shmooten giveaway!

I ‘would put this salad on the French stick and put some goat cheese on top.

I love this Simply Wise Bread mix. I have recently purchased a bread maker and use it to make up the loaves. I don’t bother using the gluten free cycle because Simply Wise Bread mix makes a proper dough that works beautifully with the breadmaker with little fuss, just some scraping down of the sides before it is all combined. I added Kaipseed mix to my latest loaf and it is delicious. Give Simply Wise Bread a try it is well worth it.
Hot crusty bread with just butter!
