Product Review & Giveaway: Melinda's Apple & Rubarb Crumble
Welcome to Gluten Shmooten’s 99th post! Here is another gluten free product review – this time from Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies who have a great range of gluten free products available at most major supermarkets.
Keep reading for details on how you can win an Apple & Rhubard Crumble from Melinda’s!
The Apple & Rhubarb Crumble pack contains 2 sachets – one for the crumble which you just have to mix with butter, and one with the apple & rhubarb. It’s really easy to make – pre-heat the oven, put ingredients into ramekins, put into oven and in 15-20 minutes you have a beautiful smell wafting from the kitchen and dessert is all ready to go!
I was really impressed at how much this did not taste like a packet mix, and it didn’t taste “gluten free” – you know how sometimes things are so clearly gluten free but in a bad way? This tasted really nice – the crumble was great.
Now for the giveaway!

My husband coz it’s his birthday tomorrow and he’ll think I love him. Hehe
I’d make it for ME (using the dairy free option I see noted on the box) to enjoy a small piece of warm yumminess.
I would make this for my mum. She’s gluten- and dairy-intolerant, and has a standard crumble recipe that she never strays from. I’d love to make her something different and see if she can tell whether it’s store-bought
My mother in law – she needs a bit of sweetening up.
I would make it for my friend to let her know that not all gluten free food is terrible.
I would make it for me! Well hubby would get a little bit too but since I am the coeliac in the house, it would be for me.
Thanks for the chance, I love Melinda’s stuff and have made a few things from her range.
