Lemongrass is a Thai restaurant on Lygon St, Carlton, that has won multiple awards and been operating for 20 years.

My first visit to Lemongrass was probably about 5 years ago and I loved loved loved it. Best Thai restaurant in Melbourne. I recently re-visited it with a friend and whilst I loved it, it wasn’t as amazing as I remember it years ago. Reading the reviews on Urban Spoon it looks like not many people have been impressed recently.

In saying that, my recent visit was still good, the only negative thing was the service was quite slow, however the food was still beautiful. There are lots of gluten free options on the menu including noodle dishes, curries, rice dishes and the “money bags” entree shown below.

Here are some photos of the banquet we had! It’s on the higher side of pricing, particularly for Thai food, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
