Grill’d
If you have not tried Grill’d burgers yet you’re missing out…they are freshly made healthy burgers – a great alternative to fast food burgers, the chips are also nice and chunky. I have not yet tried a huge variety of burgers, every time I seem to choose the same burger because I love it so much – the Mustard & Pickled burger! And they now have gluten free buns!

I’m sure my boy would love to try these…he can only have burger type foods at home.
I love eating Grill’d but unfortunately I am not only gluten intolerant but also yeast intolerant.
One two separate occasions i have asked if the buns have yeast in them and have got a rather uncertain “no” response, yet i was rather sick after eating them so who knows.
I usually just tell them no bun and they put it on a plate for me with cutlery, should you want take away they will put it in a plastic container.
The burgers are amazing, i love the cheese and bacon one.
Ahhhh mustard and pickle!! MY FAVE TOO! heheh…
I find the buns fall apart before I’m finished eatting my way through the burger (a Mightly Melbourne of course! Hmmm beetroot). It gets pretty messy by the last bite.
Urban burger also have GF buns, but they don’t fall apart as much as Grill’ds.
I love Grill’d and their chips with herbed mayo is my favourite gf snack! A word of warning though, I’m wary of cross-contamination in the bun toaster as I’ve had a few upset tummy incidents. My advice, just order the burger without the bun. It tastes delicious and is really filling anyway
I was incredibly excited when I heard that Grill’d had gf buns for their burgers, but when I heard they used the same toaster as their normal buns I was quite disappointed… to me it seems somewhat pointless to have gf buns if there’s almost a guarantee of cross-contamination.
It’d be great if they could avoid using the same toaster – I’ve been once and asked them to microwave the roll instead, just to be safe. The burger I had was amazing though!
