Chocolate Buddha, Melbourne
Chocolate Buddha is smack bang in the middle of Fed Square, a hard location to beat. Nice casual place to go for a hearty meal. The tables are communal so it’s not a great place to go on a first date as you may be sitting in close proximity to strangers. But for a nice meal with friends it’s a great place to go. There is a good range of gluten free options including sushi, mains and some desserts. They have a separate gluten free menu so make sure you ask for one.

Planning on finally trying this place out on Fri night
I LOVE places that have seperate gluten free menus (or even better! Places that are ENTIRELY GF!)
Great site – just looking for tips on where to eat dinner tonight.
I have to make a comment about my recent experience at Chocolate Buddha… If you want gluten free, DON’T go for a main. Gluten free meals there (as they say in the menu, I should’ve picked up on the warning) have no sauce (except a bit of tamari) and are consequently rather tasteless, which is pretty disappointing for a meal nearing $20.
